Il Duca e la Duchessa di Urbino (The Duke and Duchess of Urbino) are housed in the Galleria degli Uffizi, Florence, Italy. The gallery is extraordinary, and these two stood out on our visit many years ago.

The original image is courtesy of the Uffizi Gallery - the Duc and Duchess are Federico da Montefeltro and Battista Sforza. The work was painted in the years 1473-1475 c., are in oil on wooden panels of 470 x 330 mm each.
