I have painted many times a range of Military Studies and old Masters works. These have been gestural abstracts and quick studies drawing on old masters works, depicting military subjects including Napoleon, Gustav of Sweden, Count-Duke Olivares, and Field Marshal Lord Roberts. The first series of ‘war horses’ was for an Inverlochy Exhibition in mixed media of horses at war. See more.
